The Corporate Cup Adelaide CBD Round 1 is set for Wednesday 5 August 2026 inside the Adelaide CBD itself. The one-to-100 participant event relies on existing street and path networks rather than temporary builds.

Adelaide Oval and surrounding paths host major distances

The Brooks Adelaide Running Festival on Sunday 3 May 2026 starts and finishes at Adelaide Oval. The program includes 5 km, 10 km, half-marathon and full-marathon options on an AIMS-certified course. Runners move from the oval precinct onto established city routes before returning to the same venue.

Adelaide Oval supplies changing facilities, timing infrastructure and spectator areas already in place for other sports. The festival therefore adds no new capital works and instead books existing capacity on a single day.

River Torrens Linear Path and outer trails extend the network

GoodRunnings City Run on Sunday 7 February 2027 follows a 5 km loop along the River Torrens and Linear Path in the Adelaide CBD. The route stays within the city centre and uses the paved Linear Path that already serves daily commuters and recreational users.

Further out, the Five Peaks Trail Running Festival on Sunday 19 April 2026 runs from Athelstone to Belair National Park. The Sandy Running Festival on Saturday 21 March 2026 begins at Glenelg North and follows beach routes. Both events depend on existing trailheads and park access points rather than new construction.
