An additional 60 people-movement sensors track pedestrian flows and detect mobile devices in the CBD and North Adelaide, generating data intended to guide council decisions on infrastructure and safety.
These installations sit within the $551 million Adelaide City Deal, which includes a $10 million Australian Government allocation for smart infrastructure at Lot Fourteen integrated with the broader fibre network.

The same sensors that enable remote parking management and lighting adjustments also capture device identifiers and movement patterns.
